Homework:

Red Words - ten times each

Math - 10-1 Activities

Please Note: There is a mandatory parent signature that is required on a daily basis for the remainder of the third and fourth quarter. Nightly reading is also required.

Spelling:

Red Words: Red words for this week are shall, shoe, should, show, and sister..

Green Words: We will spell and write words that have the "bossy r." The r-controlled vowels for this week are -er,

-ir, and -ur.

Spelling test on Friday, April 4, 2014 (red words and -er, -ir, -ur words)

Reading:

Students will be completing an informational text poster activity to be presented on April 1, 2014, at Favorite Hill's upcoming "Family Reading Fiesta."

We will be reading the selection, "How Chipmunk Got His Stripes."

Continue to read "Homeward Bound" books each evening for twenty minutes.

Math:

We will continue to practice adding and subtracting two-digit and three-digit numbers, fractions, and counting money including the one dollar bill.

Study addition and subtraction flash cards in your child's book bag on a nightly basis until mastered.
