Attention students who are participating in the Reach With Stem Pilot Project:
If you have a computer out for the "Reach With Stem Pilot" program,
please complete the parent survey and return the "Reading Log" sheet as soon as possible. Remember, you may keep your computer until May 1st.

Nature Quest Activities
Math: Module 8 - Lesson 10 Homework
Practice addition and subtraction math facts, telling time to the nearest 5
minutes, and counting money.
Spelling Information for the Week of April 3, 2017 to April 7, 2017
Dear Parents,
HOMEWORK: Write each red word and vocabulary word 5 times each for Tuesday’s homework. (father, eight, almost, does, lifeboat, robotic, tragedy, voyage)
Green Word Study
Our “Green Word” pattern for the week will be –igh as in the word light. We will practice spelling and writing words with the –igh pattern during class each day. Please practice these words as your child brings them home on dictation pages. Weekly spelling words may come from the dictation pages. Students will be expected to apply all classroom information to words on their Friday spelling test.
Vocabulary Study
Our spelling test will also include the reading vocabulary words lifeboat, robotic, tragedy, and voyage from our reading text, Tonight on the Titanic.
Red Word Study
Our two new red words will be the words father and eight. Our two review red words are almost and does. These words are non-decodable words and do not follow the rules of phonics. Please remember, each student must receive a 100 percent for two weeks in a row to receive a final grade for the red words almost and does.
Please note that our final spelling test will be on Friday, April 7, 2017.
