Reading: Time for Kids
Two book reports of chapter books are due on Monday, April 27, 2015. Two reading logs are also due on Monday, April 27, 2015.
Please Note: Students will need to have 2 more reading logs and two more book reports for the Report Card (May 22, 2015).
* Your child will receive a grade for turning in his/her completed book reports and reading logs.
Spelling: Spelling Information for the Week of April 27, 2015
This week our spelling list will be the spelling of ue as in rescue /u/ and ue as in clue /oo/.
As the end of the school year draws near, we will need to complete our 3rd grade red word list; therefore, we will be having a total of 5 red words for the next three weeks. This week’s red words are thorough, watch, you’re, world, and whose. Students will be required to write these words 5 times each for practice. This spelling word practice is due on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Please note that next week’s final spelling test will be on Friday, May 1, 2015.
