Math: Continue to study for the Module 2 Measurement test.

Please note that I have added a link to this website at the top of this page to help with math homework questions. Our main focus for the next several weeks will be measurement. Please continue to save all practice sets and homework activities for the end-of-the module assessment.

Reading: Reading Logs for the 2nd Nine Weeks

Please note that we have started a new nine weeks. Once again, your child will be responsible for turning in 4 reading logs per nine weeks.

*Homeward Bound books - please read on a nightly basis. Students are required to read these books at home. Each student needs to turn in 2 reading log sheets per Interim, and a total of 4 reading log sheets per report card. Your child will receive a grade for turning in his/her completed reading logs.

Spelling: Red words 3 times each/Green words 1 time each

Students will be required to spell three more “red words” on his/her final spelling test on Friday. Our red words for this week are push, shoe, and should. Please write each red word three times each for homework. Please write each green word one time each for homework. Return the completed spelling practice on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Please note that this week’s final spelling test will be on Thursday, November 6, 2014.

Below, please find a list of green words we will be practicing from Monday through Thursday for our spelling test on Thursday, November 6. Students should be proficient in review tests before continuing to the next step in the sequence. If they are able to read and spell the words in column A easily, continue with the next step in the sequence. If not, take time out to review the preceding materials, and then try column B, etc. Students will be responsible for 17 of the words along with the above three red words.
