Homework for tonight: 8.9 Activity Pages
Study for Spelling test, Week 19 DLR test, and Week 16 Daily Math Practice test on Friday, January 24, 2014.
Study addition math facts cards in your child's book bag on a nightly basis until mastered.
Spelling:
Red Words: Our red words for this week are very, want, watch, we, and way.
Green Words: We will continue to work on Syllable Division with -ng and -nk Endings (-ang, -ing, -ong, -ung, -ank, -ink, -onk, -unk).
Spelling test on Friday, January 24 , 2014 (red words and -ng and -nk Endings)
Reading:
Continue to read "Homeward Bound" books each evening for twenty minutes.
Math:
Unit 8 math test tomorrow
Study addition math facts cards in your child's book bag on a nightly basis until mastered.
Continue to practice addition and subtraction math facts, telling time to the nearest 5 minutes, and counting money
Homework for tonight: Study red words and practice syllable division for words with -ng and -nk endings.
Homework for tonight: Backyard Corn - This will be a graded assignment.
Please Note: There is a mandatory parent signature that is required on a daily basis for the remainder of the third and fourth quarter. Nightly reading is also requried.
