Math Homework 15.5

Study vocabulary words for a test on Thursday.

Test over "Click Clack Moo"

Return conference forms as soon as possible. Conferences are this week, Wednesday, February 12th and Thursday, February 13th. The time is from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m nightly.

Subtraction flashcards are in your child's book bag this evening. Start studying these, and continue to study addition math flash cards on a nightly basis until mastered.

Please Note: There is a mandatory parent signature that is required on a daily basis for the remainder of the third and fourth quarter. Nightly reading is also required.

Spelling:

Red Words: Our red words for next week are already, altogether, almost , and always.

Green Words: We will continue to work on the long sound of a vowel by using the term, "name of the vowel." Students will add magic e to the end of the word and explain that this tells us to use the name of the vowel in the word.

Spelling test on Thursday, February 13, 2014 (red words and Magic e words, two-syllables)

Reading:

Continue to read "Homeward Bound" books each evening for twenty minutes.

Math:

Study addition and subtraction flash cards in your child's book bag on a nightly basis until mastered.

Continue to practice addition and subtraction math facts, telling time to the nearest 5 minutes, and counting money.
