Reading: Reading Logs; Book Reports (Chapter Books)
Please Note: Students will need to have 2 reading logs by Interim (Monday, April 27, 2015) with book reports for two books and two more reading logs with book reports for the Report Card (May 22, 2015).
* Your child will receive a grade for turning in his/her completed reading logs.
Spelling: Spelling Information for the Week of April 20, 2015
Parents,
Next week our spelling list will be spellings for /k/. When you hear the /k/ sound at the end of a word, it can be spelled the following ways: k, ck, or ke. This concept can be difficult to learn and to differentiate the spelling of the /k/ sound within a variety of words; therefore, each student will be provided with a list of the spelling words for the test on Friday. Students will be required to write these words 5 times each for practice. This spelling word practice is due on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Our 3rd grade red words for this week are sound, than, and they’re.
Please note that next week’s final spelling test will be on Friday, April 24, 2015.
Math: There is no math homework.
Review multiplication math facts 0 - 6.
Continue to study multiplication math facts for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
These multiplication math facts were sent home last week to review
on a nightly basis.
Continue to save all "Problem Set" homework activities to review for testing and to answer homework questions.
