Westmeath booked their place in the quarter-finals thanks to a 10-point win over Laois at O'Moore Park last night. Pat Flanagan's team had far too much for the hosts and now progress to meet Offaly on March 9 in Mullingar, where the winners will meet either Meath or Longford.
Westmeath have three Caulry lads on the panel, Ben Moran (see picture below), Kevin Maguire and Joe McMahon, with Moran and Maguire in acton last night against Laois..
