Congratulations to Hugh Gaynor who was the lucky winner of the jackpot of €4,400 in our draw held on 12th of October last. Hugh is the club development officer and serves as chairman of our ladies’ board and is undoubtedly a very worthy winner.

Sympathies

It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the passing of Joe Malynn last week. Joe had a keen interest in GAA and played with Caulry throughout the 1950s and 1960s. His honours with the club including winning a Junior Championship and League title in 1957. Joe will be fondly remembered for the important role he played on both teams, playing in the forward line with his precise free-taking ability helping Caulry over the line in both finals.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Malynn family, Ballycloughduff at this time.
