Turning of the Sod

We had the official turning of the sod for our new walking track on Sunday morning last in the local park. Chairman Ger O’Kelly Lynch welcomed the good sized crowd to the special occasion. He spoke about the great work that has been done on the development of the new pitch in recent years and looked forward to development of the new walking track, which he hopes we will get years of use out of. Ger thanked the development committee for their hard work on this project and all who contribute to club fundraising. President, James Ganley then had the honour of turning the first sod on behalf of the club. A huge thanks to all who attended on the morning and to all who were involved in the organising this event.
