Senior and Junior Championship Fixtures
Our seniors make the journey to Tang on Saturday evening next for their second outing of this year’s championship. The opposition will be provided by near-neighbours Athlone. A win on the evening would secure our lads a quarter-final spot and see them avoiding ending up in the relegation danger-zone. The sides last met in the senior championship in 2016 where the Caulry lads came out on top on a scoreline of 0-15 to 1-9 and undoubtedly, our lads will be hungry for a similar result on Saturday. Kick-off for this all-important clash is 6:45pm.
Similarly, our juniors will be looking for a win on Friday when they take on Shandonagh in Moate. This game takes place at 7pm and a win is also needed to qualify for a quarter-final of this year’s competition.
We wish both panels and their management teams the very best of luck.
Anyone interested in being entered into a draw for a ticket to either game must give their name and match preference (Junior, Senior or Both) to James Casey, Keith Dolan or Samantha Carroll by 5pm on Wednesday.
