Minor AGM
The AGM of our minor board took place on Saturday night last in Mount Temple Community Hall.
The outgoing chairman Matt Hamilton welcomed the good-sized attendance and began by thanking all parents, coaches, sponsors and children for their contributions and support during the past year. He praised the ever-growing numbers of our underage setup and stated we as a club have a very strong foundation entering into the next decade as the club continues to go from strength to strength. Matt mentioned the numerous highlights 2019 brought with the opening of our new facilities bringing particular pride to the club. He concluded by stating it was a pleasure to serve his time as minor chair and wished his successor all the best.
Outgoing secretary James Hatton then spoke about the busy year of football we had, fielding underage teams at 8 levels. He reiterated many of the chairman’s words, mentioning the achievements of our U10, U14, U16, U18 and ladies teams being noteworthy highlights. James then proceeded to extends thank to all coaches, parents, fellow committee members and the senior executive for their continued support. In particular, James expressed gratitude to the local primary schools of An Grianan and Baylin NS, preschools and secondary schools for their efforts in promoting GAA in the community and concluded by inviting a spokesperson from the management of each age group to give a brief run-down of the teams footballing year.
The election of officers then took place and the following we elected for the coming year:

Vice-Chairman: Bernard Corcoran
Minor Secretary: James Hatton
