Division 5 League

Caulry travelled to Shandonagh on Sunday last to play the home team in the second round of games in the County Divsion 5 League. Although leading at half-time by a point (1-5 to 0-6) in an evenly matched first-half and through an early goal by James Daly, a stronger and more determined Shandonagh fifteen upped the ante in the second period and ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-8.

North Leinster Schools Title

Congratulations to School Team Manager and local clubman James Hatton and panellists Stephen Woods, Robbie Hickey, James Pettit, Darren O'Connor and Sean Doyle on winning the North Leinster Junior B Football title with Moate Community School following their defeat of St. Mary's Edenderry in the final in Kinnegad last Friday evening.

U/10 Football

The Caulry Under 10 footballers entertain Kilbeggan/St Josephs on Sunday morning next at 11am. This is the second round of the Westmeath league which will be played at the Caulry pitch. Your support would be most welcome. Football practise continues on Thursday evening at 7pm.

Caulry Fundraising Initiative

Caulry GAA are organising a Fundraising initiative to raise monies for on-going & essential activities in the club.

This will involve a Scrap Metal Collection exercise over the next few weeks. All Household & Farm Items with a metal content will be accepted such as empty food Cans, Bicycles, Boilers, Radiators, Tractors, Cars, Electric motors, Engines, Gates, Batteries etc.

Collection is Free, and club members will be calling around to all houses in the Mount Temple/Balyin area over the coming weeks. If interested in donating any of the above, please contact one of the following people to arrange collection.
