Division 1 ACFL

Caulry 0-12

Bunbrosna 1-6

Caulry picked up their second brace of points in this year’s Division 1 ACFL with a deserved three point victory over Bunbrosna on Sunday last.

From the start Caulry were the dominant side with early points from Eoghan Grennan, David Brookes and Alan Fitzpatrick. Bunbrosna’s only score of the first half came in the 21^st minute. However, the team worked well and began to build up a commanding lead and by half time, the scoreboard read 0-8 to 0-1.

The second half began in the same vein with points from Alan Fitzpatrick and Harry Hughes. However, Bunbrosna hit the back of the Caulry net in the 43^rd minute leaving two points between the sides. Both teams traded scores and the match finished on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-6.
