Caulry GAA Notes Feb 21st

Division 5 League

Caulry's Junior B team kicked off their Division 5 League campaign last Saturday in Ballymore. Fielding an understrength side, Caulry went in at half-time trailing Ballymore by a goal 1-3 to 0-3. The introduction of Ernie Buckley shortly after half-time helped matters on the scoring board as he converted a number of points both from play and frees but a stronger and fitter Ballymore side who got crucial goals in either half sealed victory for the home side and they ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-10 points.

Subs Ernie Buckley(0-5) for Damien Dowd, Brian Muldoon for Richie Guinan , Liam Muldoon for Mark Malone, Thomas Fagan for Eric Fallon.

Minor v Killucan at Home Sunday, Feb 27th at 11am.

U/14 v Athlone Away Saturday, Feb 26th at 11am.

Well done to Evan Roarke and Andrew O'Sullivan who were members of the Marist school squad who defeated St Pat's of Navan in the final of the North Leinster Junior A Colleges Final last Thursday.

Congratulations to the Mount Temple/Baylin U/15 Boys and U/13 Girls 5-aside indoor Football teams in winning their respective Westmeath County Community Games titles recently.
