St. Stephen’s Day Fun Run
Our St. Stephen’s Day Fun Run is back, but this year it’s a little different. We are asking you to walk or run 1 mile or 5km in your own time, send your photo to our Facebook or Twitter and donate to South Westmeath Hospice. All proceeds go this this very worthy cause and donations can be handed into Kieran’s shop or made online via idonate.ie. See our Facebook for more information.
Last Man Standing Fundraiser
Back by popular demand, our senior lads are running Round 2 of the Last Man Standing Fundraiser which commences on St. Stephen’s Day. Entry costs €10 and full details of the fundraiser can be found on our Facebook page. All support is greatly appreciated.
A Christmas Message from our Chairman
To our members, patrons and loyal supporters,
On behalf of Caulry GAA, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support during this strange year.
Despite the constraints that were imposed upon the GAA and all sporting bodies due to Covid, our pitches and walking track were busy 7 days a week apart from the period of strict lockdown.
The support of our online lotto continues to grow and operates well in tandem with paper sales. The revenue generated is the means by which the club functions on a daily basis. It has never been easier to support the club and now you can do it from the comfort of your armchair following the links on our Facebook page to Clubforce. Your contribution ensures the upkeep and enhancement of the facilities which allow our youth to congregate and play whilst the older among us take our exercise in safety.
We hope for a return to normality in 2021 but we must be thankful for the health and safety of those around us.
We wish you and yours a happy and peaceful Christmas period with your family and friends and hope for a brighter New Year!
Regards,
James Casey
Club Chairman
Westmeath County Convention
Congratulations to club man Donie Malone who was elected as vice chairman of the Westmeath county board at their recent county convention. Well done Donie!
