Intermediate Football Final

Yet another great escape for Caulry in this year's Championship, this time in the final last Sunday afternoon in Cusack Park, Mullingar against St Malachy's when an injury time point by Peter Smyth secured a replay for Caulry on a scoreline of Caulry 0-14 St Malachys 1-11.

The replay has been fixed for the same venue this coming Saturday, October 12th with a 4pm throw-in. Lucky in the end to snatch a draw Caulry will have to up their performance somewhat for the replay but the spirit in this squad all year has been tremendous and there is no doubt that the lads will give it their all next Saturday in their efforts to bring the Geraghty Cup back to the Parish for the first time in 28 years. The Club would like to thank all our Supporters for the tremendous turn-out and colours on display for last Sundays Final and we are asking for the same again this Saturday to cheer on the boys in red and white.

U12 League Championship Final

Caulry 1-5 Ballycomoyle 1-3

Congratulations to the Caulry U/12 girls who overcame a strong Ballycomoyle team on Saturday last in Tyrrellspass. This was a first League Final win for the newly formed Caulry Ladies Football Club. There was great support on the day and we would like to thank everyone for travelling to cheer on the girls in red and white ! Many thanks to the U/12 sponsor Ray McSharry of McSharry Pharmacy for his support and generosity all year. Thanks also to Ann Kilroy of Smiles & Giggles for sponsoring the girls U/10 jerseys. A big thank you also to the Caulry GAA Club for encouraging and supporting ladies football in the Parish.
