Junior Championship

St Lomans 1-13

An understrength Caulry side were defeated by St Lomans in the second round of the Junior Campionship played at Lakepoint Park last Thursday evening. Despite a very bright opening fifteen minutes when Caulry were well on top but missed two glorious goal opportunities Lomans went in at the break leading by five points on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-3. Caulry's three points all coming from a very lively Alan Daly.

The all important goal by Lomans came early in the second half and despite gallant efforts by the men in red Lomans eased home on a scoreline of St Lomans 1-13 Caulry 0-6

Caulry travelled to Tubberclare on Sunday week last for the final round of the Go Games league matches. Four evenly matched teams played out a good morning’s football showing great potential in the process.
