Division 2 Semi-final Caulry 4-9 v Mullingar Shamrocks 3-3
Caulry was the venue for Division 2 semi-final on a very warm Sunday morning v Mullingar Shamrocks. Caulry's Aine Gaynor was the first to open the account with a fantastic goal. Katie Killane followed that by scoring 3 points before Shamrocks got into the game. By half time Shamrocks had replied with 2 goals and 2 points, another point from Aine, and a goal and a point from Tamara Farrell meant Caulry lead by a goal at half time. Caulry got down to business straight away in the second half with 2 more goals from Tamara. Shamrocks replied with a goal and a point before they ran out of steam. A few great saves from Emma helped the campaign and Caulry's heads were high as they showed remarkable teamwork throughout finally racing ahead with a few more scores from Ava, Aine and a very classy left foot from Ruth Martin lead the girls to win on a scoreline of 4-9 to 3-3.
