Note: this forthee, which speaks to the 7 yrs. tribulation leading into the day of the LORD, was given to Joel simultaneous to the desolation he was witnessing in 478 B.C. (2Ki_25:3-26; 2Ch_36:17-20).

Joe 1:2 Ἀκούσατε ταῦτα, οἱ πρεσβύτεροι, καὶ ἐνωτίσασθε, πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν. εἰ γέγονεν τοιαῦτα ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἡμῶν, ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν;
