2Es 1:1 (Ezr 1:1) ΚΑΙ ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ ἔτει Κύρου τοῦ βασιλέως Περσῶν, τοῦ τελεσθῆναι ἀπὸ στόματος Ἰερεμίου, ἐξήγειρεν τὸ πνεῦμα Κύρου βασιλέως Περσῶν, καὶ παρήγγειλεν φωνὴν ἐν πάσῃ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ καί γε ἐν γραπτῷ λέγων

(Ezr 1:1) And in unto-the-one unto-most-before unto-a-yeareedness of-a-Kuros of-the-one of-a-ruler-of of-Persians, of-the-one to-have-been-finished-unto off of-a-becutteeing-to of-an-Ieremias, it-was-rousing-out, the-one a-currenting-to of-a-Kuros of-a-ruler-of of-Persians, and it-leadeeered-beside to-a-sound in unto-all unto-a-ruling-of of-it and too in unto-scribed forthing,

Note: unto-a-yeareedness : this date, 426 B.C., continuing from 2Ch_36:23; see note there.

*Nebuchadnezzar begins to rule in 496; d. 452.

*Darius the Mede b. 488; began reign over Media 474; issued command to Nehemiah to restore Jerusalem 454; d. 426 shortly after Cyrus took Babylon.

*Cyrus b. 466.

*Rebuilding began under Cyrus in 426; followed by 15 yrs. of opposition (425-410); (1) 425-419 (Cyrus distracted by wars); (2) 419-411 (Cambyses); (3) 411 (Darius Hystaspis); rebuilding begins again unfettered under Darius Hystaspis in 410.

*Hystapsis was made a Satrap over Bactia and Persis under Cyrus and continued under Cambyses.

2Es 1:2 (Ezr 1:2) Οὕτως εἶπεν Κῦρος βασιλεὺς Περσῶν Πάσας τὰς βασιλείας ἔδωκέν μοι ὁ θεὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπεσκέψατό με ἐπ' ἐμὲ οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ τῇ ἐν Ἰούδᾳ.

(Ezr 1:3) What-one in unto-ye off of-all of-the-one of-a-people of-it? And it-shall-be the-one a-Deity(Elohim) of-it with of-it, and it-shall-step-up into to-an-Ierousalêm.

2Es 1:4 (Ezr 1:4) καὶ πᾶς ὁ καταλειπόμενος ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν τόπων οὗ αὐτὸς παροικεῖ ἐκεῖ, καὶ λήμψονται αὐτὸν ἄνδρες τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀργυρίῳ καὶ χρυσίῳ καὶ ἀποσκευῇ καὶ κτήνεσιν μετὰ τοῦ ἑκουσίου εἰς οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

(Ezr 1:4) And all the-one remaindering-down off of-all of-the-ones of-occasions of-which it it-houseth-beside-unto thither, and they-shall-take to-it, men of-the-one of-an-occasion of-it, in unto-a-silverlet and unto-a-goldlet and unto-an-equipping-off and unto-befoundeednesses with of-the-one of-be-out-belonged into to-a-house of-the-one of-a-Deity(haElohim) of-the-one in unto-an-Ierousalêm.

Note: unto-befoundeednesses : something able to be corporatively tamed and utilized; i.e. livestock.

2Es 1:5 (Ezr 1:5) καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῷ Ἰούδᾳ καὶ Βενιαμεὶν καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευεῖται, πάντων ὧν ἐξήγειρεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτῶν τοῦ ἀναβῆναι οἰκοδομῆσαι τὸν οἶκον τὸν ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

(Ezr 1:5) And they-had-stood-up, firsting of-the-ones of-fatherings-unto unto-the-one unto-an-Ioudas and unto-a-Beniamein and the-ones sacreders-of and the-ones Leuei-belongers, of-all of-which it-roused-out, the-one a-Deity(haElohim), to-the-one to-a-currenting-to of-them of-the-one to-have-had-stepped-up to-have-house-built-unto to-the-one to-a-house to-the-one in unto-an-Ierousalêm.

2Es 1:6 (Ezr 1:6) καὶ πάντες οἱ κυκλόθεν ἐνίσχυσαν ἐν χερσὶν αὐτῶν ἐν σκεύεσιν ἀργυρίου, ἐν χρυσῷ, ἐν ἀποσκευῇ καὶ ἐν κτήνεσιν καὶ ἐν ξενίοις, παρὲξ τῶν ἑκουσίων.

(Ezr 1:6) And all the-ones circled-from they-force-held-in in unto-hands of-them in unto-equipeednesses of-a-silverlet, in unto-golden, in unto-an-equipping-off and in unto-befoundeednesses and in unto-guest-belonged, beside-out of-the-ones of-be-out-belonged.

(Ezr 1:8) and it-beared-out to-them, a-Kuros a-ruler-of of-Persians, upon to-a-hand of-a-Mithradatês of-a-Tasbarênos, and it-numbered-unto to-them unto-the-one unto-a-Sabanasar unto-firsting of-the-one of-an-Ioudas.

(Ezr 1:10) keffourês' golden thirty and silvern six, and equipeednesses different thousand.

Note: keffourês' : transliterated from a Hebrew paradigm, a-pitchage (Exo_16:14) or a-standness-placing-of (1Ch_28:17), the form intended here appears to be pitchages, referring to equipeednesses that had been melted down.
