[08:56 +1]

Again another late night, so this is another 'tomorrow' blog :)

We'd ordered breakfast from the hotel this morning, it arrived promptly at 08:30 and very nice it was!

Breakfast arrives!

We had a plan today to go back into the centre of Boston and get on one of the (many) tour trolleys that run about town. To do that we needed to go back on the Silver Line bus/train thing. This time I managed to get a shot as it pulled in.

The odd Silver Line bus/tram thingy

The tunnels it travels through are purpose built - like tube tunnels without rails. They run on electric tram lines too.

First thing we did was book ourselves onto the Ghosts and Graveyards tour, then we jumped onto the trolley bus and drove around the town for a hour or so. We stopped off at the USS Constitution in the naval yard.

Going down below decks was tricky as the ceiling was quite low - even Linda had to watch where she went.

We stopped off for a bite to eat then was back at the pick-up point for the Ghosts and Graveyards tour. It was run by the same company that does our day tour. Indeed we spotted one of the guys that we saw earlier. They use two special trolleys that are kitted out with spooky decorations.

Our evening transport

The tour itself was with costumed guides that took you around parts of Boston and told you the darker side of the city. This included a couple of stops at the historic graveyards that are in the centre of Boston. They are deserted at that time of the night so our group is standing there, in a 300 year old cemetery, listening to tales of ghostly highwaymen. Cool.
