As is usual, we were awake long before the sun came up this morning. Although tired, your body clock isn't playing ball and keeps you awake long before the time difference can make up. So I was up in plenty of time to get the sunrise at the front of the apartment (opposite side to the sea).

The sun beams into the above walkway area first thing in the morning. Also we noticed just how humid it was. So we had a look at the weather forecast for the week and it shows as being in the low 90F for the whole week.

"Phew, wot a scorcher" as someone once said.

We had breakfast and the idea would then be to pop over to Publix again to get the stuff we want to use during the week (general food stuff, household goods, ice box, that sort of thing). We've noticed that the food prices have crept up here as at home. We came away with a bill of over $200 (about £160) and that didn't include many main meals, as usually we'll eat out during the week.

Once back from the shops we grabbed lunch and Linda skyped back home.

After that, I stayed in the apartment whist Linda braved the hot afternoon and sat out on the balcony to read her Kindle. She's already finished one new book whilst flying over here, so I'm guessing her book count will easily be in double figures by the end of the holiday.

We stopped out to watch the sunset.

Then headed off to a nearby Pizza place which does a buffet dinner. All you can eat for $9 a head. Odd that we paid in total around $30 for the meal (around £23) which is half what we paid for a smaller meal in Iceland. Very nice it was too.
