Once packed, we had a last look out on the balcony
The loaded up the car and headed over to the rental office on the island to return our keys.
From there it was a 2 hour drive up I75 and onto I4 to get back to Orlando.
We headed for Downtown Disney so we could use the early check-in that Virgin run there. As we're flying back Upper Class we managed to skip what little line there was and we also made use of the increased case weight limit. Two were just under 23KG and two got the orange 'sticker of shame' HEAVY badge as they came in at 25KG and 26KG.
We then took the opportunity for a quick bite to eat in the nearby IHOP before returning to Downtown Disney and grabbing one last,final,conclusive shop.
After this, we headed to the airport, dropped off the car and stood in the long (15 minutes, my foot!!) line for security.
Another first this holiday is that we have access to the Delta Lounge in Orlando. Virgin don't have a lounge here but as UC passengers we get access to the Delta lounge. It's not too bad, but the food is pretty poor.
We're waiting for our boarding call at the moment... Gate 85.
There are 225 passengers and 13 crew on board the Airbus A340 Miss England. We took off on time and the Captain has said this would be close to seven hours flight time as the jet stream is so powerful at the moment (in our favour).
