[13:51 GMT]

We left the tarmac at just after 17:10 PST, we seemed to be taxiing for ages before we finally got airborne. The flight was half full, just 205 passengers and 18 crew. Upstairs was quite busy though, no spare seats as far as I could see. Downstairs I bet people were laying out along the 3 and 4 bank seats.

We had a bit of a bumpy ride, especially when we'd first taken off, however, it eventually calmed down.

We landed at Gatwick a little ahead of schedule, 10:21 GMT, a flight time of 9 hours 11 minutes.

Although we were not the first off the plane, we did make it to passport control first as most people were walking around the big ramp just outside the arrivals area. Linda and I walked down the stairs and jumped ahead of everyone. That made us first to the passport control (no queue there) and amazingly, one of our bags was the first off the carousel, the other three not that far behind. This meant that we were on our way to the M23 by 11am. Possibly the fastest we've got off a plane and been out of the airport.

Home by 12 noon.

Holiday Score sheet

Good Stuff - Nice Palazzo Room, nice Trump room, kitchenette in Trump room, good flight out, good flight back, quick check-in at trump, good Jersey Boys show, good Matt Goss show, OK Trent Carlini show, nice drive to Hoover Dam, Vegas was quite quiet, super fast return to Gatwick.

Not so good stuff - 2 hour wait to get into the Palazzo, no coffee making facilities in Palazzo, miserable weather on a couple of days, lost loads of cash in the slots.
