We fly home on Thursday :( However, looking at the forecast at the moment, it seems we'll be leaving at just the right time.

A change in the temperature is arriving

It's showing the temperature will be dropping by over 10' just as we're flying out. It's also forecasting rain and possible thunderstorms early tomorrow morning, perhaps during the night. It'll be a cold front moving through which will lead to the temperature drop on Thursday.

This morning it's another hot and humid start with some light cloud. We sat out on the balcony for a while, spotting a couple of dolphins. But soon it became to warm and we moved indoors to the air-conditioned bliss.

The plan was to go down to the beach a mile or so from where we're staying, so I could do some snorkelling under the old pier they have there. We did that, but the best underwater photos I got was stuff like this.

My main problem was that it has gotten more windy and the waves have picked up. Meaning I now had two issues -

1 - the water was more churned up than usual making it difficult to see anything.

2 - the force of the waves meant I was is constant danger of hitting the stone pier with 50 years of crustaceans growing on it. Nasty stuff.

This edited video (removing most of the 'looking at green' bits) shows what it was like.

After a hour or so, I gave up and we came back to the apartment for something to eat. Our plans were then to go down to the beach for a short swim, but the clouds and wind were still picking up so even though I'm currently doing a time-lapse of the sunset again, it's going to be mainly clouds I can see it.

As I suspected, the sunset was completely covered over by very heavy cloud that arrived in the last hour of daylight. You can see it all below in glorious 1080P!

I ended the timelapse a little early as it was starting to rain quite hard. Indeed it's still raining out there now - no thunderstorms at the moment, but it can't be long I think.

I cooked some dinner in the apartment so we didn't have to go out into the rain - plus we are running out of days to use the ingredients we'd bought!
