[15:29 PDT]

It's the last day of our holiday today. We needed to be up and out fairly sharp-ish today as checkout was by 11am and we still needed to find somewhere to have breakfast.

Our biggest question was how we were going to use the 2, maybe 3 hours between checking out and needing to be at the airport. Also, the question of what to do with our baggage in the mean time.

We grabbed a breakfast at the Grand Lux Cafe after we'd failed to make it back there the previous evening. We decided on the buffet. Linda decided to 'pop over to Sephora' to do some last minute shopping whilst I started carrying the cases down to the car as checkout time was fast approaching. Some 60 minutes later Linda re-appears at the hotel door. She can't get back in as I've already checked out. Somehow, despite us doing the route a couple of times over the week, Linda got lost in the Venitian hotel so by the time she reappeared, we should have been out of the hotel room 30 minutes ago.

In the end, as time was creeping on, we decided to just go for a quick walk around the Mirage water feature, then finish off our last couple of $20 bills in the slots. Sadly, that didn't take too long!I'm now sitting in the airport terminal, the flight appears to be ready to leave as expected at 16:40. Thankfully, the terminal is pretty quiet.[16:48 BST +1]Thankfully, boarding didn't take very long. Even the flight time was a reasonable 9 hours 2 minutes. We had a little bit of turbulence over Canada and again over Greenland but it was quite mild. We landed back in the UK at 10:07am Sunday morning. We were one of the first through customs and even our cases played ball by being in the first batch to arrive. Lots of customs guys about today, but they all seemed interested in others today.Roads home were quite busy, considering it's a Easter Sunday, I guess I need a break!!Roll on October ;)
