I'm writing this the following morning. We had a very late night last night, not getting back until after midnight.

We started off with our first trip to California Adventure. It's the sister park to Disneyland.

When we arrived we could see that the park had been decorated with a Halloween theme, although this was not the case at 9:30 pm the previous evening when we'd gone past. We were there by 9:40am, walking from the hotel.

We started off by meeting a couple of the Disney characters before the park opened. I then grabbed a couple of fastpass tickets for Hollywood Tower (although when I returned the line was very short so I didn't use them).

We then visited the animation centre and learned how to draw Mickey Mouse. Then we wandered through some other areas, heading towards the fair at the end of the park. We both did the rapids ride there, not getting too wet.

Weather again was very warm, not humid at all. We both dried out pretty quickly.

We got wet again whilst we watched the Pixar parade - many of the characters and most of the floats had large water pistols which they used a lot.

Linda braved the soarin' ride once again (and looked this time!) and she also went up in the Ferris wheel (not the swinging booths though).

We moved back over to Disneyland once the park started to close.

It was a lot busier than the last time we were there. Ride wait times were a lot longer than before. Again Nemo was about 30 minutes. Once more the Peter Pan ride seems to be the worst in the park - a two minute ride but a wait of around 40 minutes!

We headed to the Pooh Bear ride - it's in the corner of the park and has one of the smallest queues, just 10 minutes!

There was a firework display too tonight - we didn't have the best view, not knowing where the fireworks actually come from, but it was viewable.

The park numbers were dropping so I managed to get onto Splash Mountain again (no wait time) and we finally managed to get onto Nemo, in fact I was the last person to board the sub for that day. The park rides were all shut down when we returned, however, I think the Haunted Mansion was still running down the queue as they has a good 30 minute queue.

Once we walked back to the hotel it was gone midnight, so I thought it best to wait until this morning to upload the photos.
