After having a look at some examples online, I tried another night time-lapse using some of the suggested settings. I think it looks a lot better. Helped that it wasn't too cloudy too.

Humidity is expected to be at its highest today just before the promised cold-front passes over tomorrow. Something like 89'f is promised with high 80% humidity. I'm glad we're not in the middle of a Disney park with that weather!

As seems to be the usual situation of a morning, we milled around the apartment for the morning. Just before lunch we decided to go down and try the pool as this has just reopened following its repairs.

We were in there alone, which might be because the weather didn't look too promising in the distance.

It got very overcast

It lightly rained for a short time, but there was never any thunder heard, nor did that really dark cloud actually cross over us.

Once back in the apartment, I got changed and jumped into the car to drive down to the local cinema. Despite it being 2015, I found I couldn't buy tickets online (not accepting a UK credit Card) nor was there a phone service for booking. So I had to do it the old fashioned way! Fortunately, its only a short drive away. I got us tickets for the new-ish movie The Martian. The show was at 7:15pm, so that gave us a couple of hours out on the balcony before we did a pizza in the apartment before leaving for the cinema.

This Cinema, the Regal 8, has recently been revamped with new seating - the chairs are basically large lounger chairs with reclining backs and foot rests. All very comfy, but we were unaware that they were spring loaded, so Linda sat herself back in the chair, leaned back and activated the foot level. Up sprung the foot rest with such speed that it catapulted one of Linda's shoes off down the aisle. Needless to say she was too embarrassed to go and collect it (either that or she couldn't get the foot rest down again!)

The film itself was very good, we both enjoyed it a lot.

It was hot and humid as we left. Tomorrow is supposed to be the cold front passing over, which should mean the temperature cools somewhat and the humidity should drop a lot.
