Thursday 16th October
Today we returned to the small beach at the northern end of Anna Maria island. It was the first place we had visited when we first drove to Anna Maria as a day trip and we've always tried to revisit it when we have the chance. It's a very small beach, only a couple of yards deep in places, but also very quiet.
So we drove over there with some stuff for lunch and our books. I'm still reading the same book I was reading on the plane. Linda's on, I think, her 4th book since she got on the plane. Maybe the 5th actually!
We sat there for a few hours, before returning the stuff to the car and heading down to the local ice-cream store where we both had a 2 scoop cup.
Finally, after a quick walk down the nearby pier we headed back to the apartment.
There is was time for sunset and it was a pretty good one today.

Dinner was in the apartment, I got some Chinese from the nearby take away. We also finished off yesterday's dessert from the Outback.
