[17:58]

A more quiet day today - after staying at the Bear Lodge, with its one hour slot for breakfast, we decided to have more of a lay in today. Indeed, it wasn't until almost 11am before we went out for some breakfast.

Fancy breakfast time!

Following from that, we wandered over to the port area and took a boat rive along part of the river Piscataqua. The oddest part of the trip was when we sailed past one of the power stations on the bank. One of the new turbines there is designed to run on wood chips. These are delivered to the power station by large trucks. It seems that the easiest way to get the chips out of these trucks is to... well, see for yourself:

Truck tipping machine

Yes, that's right, that is indeed a 18 wheeler truck tipped up at a 70' angle to tip out its contents.

Once back on dry land, we popped into the coffee shop to warm up. Despite it being a very sunny day, the trip back on the ship had been quite cold.

We then spent the remainder of the afternoon wandering about Portsmouth, taking in the sites.
