So we decided to go out and about. This time we went to the new Mall that opened last week in Sarasota at a place called UTC (university town centre). It's still new, having only been open a week and you can see that by half the staff didn't know how to operate the tills, or have correct keys for stuff. Still we spent a couple of hours wandering around the place.
We also went off looking for a good deal on a small camera as I'm really doubting that our Canon D20 will come through it's dunking. It's still not powering up.
Se ended up with a small Sony WX220 in black, so expect to see some new photos whilst Linda practices.
Our evening meal was supposed to be at the Cheesecake Factory. There was one attached to the mall.
However, on arrival we were told it was a 2 to 2.5 hour wait for a table for 2. Eek. We went elsewhere - to a place called Ruby Tuesdays, just over the main road from the Mall. I had a nice burger. Linda went with chicken with mac & cheese.
