Back in the UK

The flight was uneventful really. We had a group including a baby in the seats across from us, so I was expecting things to get noisy en route, but fortunately, it was a quiet flight. Turbulance was slight too. I noticed on the flight map that we'd taken an unusual route home as you can see on the right. This may be that we were trying to avoid Hurricane Fiona which is over Canada at the moment.

I think I slept a little, Linda, not so much.

Either way, we were back in the UK and on the ground by just after 8am, a little ahead of schedule.

The cases all arrived together, about 10 minutes after we'd got through immigration.

Our car was all OK in the car park and we were indoors by 10:15am, a record for us!

Needless to say, we're just left the cases and tried to grab a bit more sleep.
