So we were up this morning early, only to look outside to see this.

We got heavy rain for about 20 minutes as part of this cold front which is coming over us at the moment.

The TV was showing heavy rain in the area, thunder storms and widespread traffic issues as a result.

Currently the rain has subsided and left us with a rainbow.

So we've had a rethink as to today's plans as neither of us fancy a beach trip in this weather! So, shopping it is!

We drove south, through Sarasota.

And south further to the JC Penny at the Westfield Shopping Centre. I picked up some new shirts for work, Linda came away empty. So we then headed over to the University Parkway Mall and had a look over there too.

This time Linda picked up some earrings.

The weather has been overcast all day it seems, so there's not much in the way of a sunset tonight - we're back home and it's totally clouded out at the moment. Still has a couple of hours to open up a bit.
