We had been booked up to return to Florida since October 2019.

This time we were confirmed to return to Unit 27 on October 7th through 24th 2020.

We had also rebooked with BA to travel via Tampa as that had been so much better for us on arriving.

However, the spread of the COVID-19 virus put paid to that and we ended up having the flight cancelled and refunded in August and soon after, we contacted the letting agents and got a credit on our booking. We have 18 months from the cancellation date to rebook our credit.

At the time, the US were not even allowing flights into the country from the UK, so it wasn't a difficult choice in the end.

A shame as this the first year since 2005 where we'd not had a main holiday away. :(
