Tuesday October 15th
After breakfast we had a look through some of the nearby shops - Beals, Target, Best Buy. Linda got a couple of small items. Eventually it was getting near to lunchtime, so we grabbed a Starbucks and headed back to the apartment.
This afternoon was England's last World Cup qualifier against Poland at Wembley. It was due to start at 8pm, UK time. So I was trying to see if I could find the game on the US TV. The closest I could find was ESPN showing World Cup highlights from multiple games. In the end, I logged into my PC at home, set up a local proxy and watched the ITV feed from my laptop here. It was surprisingly watchable from a quality point of view. England won 2-0 so that was a good result too!
In the meantime, Linda was topping up her tan outside on the balcony with her Kindle (I think she's almost at the end of book 4 in the 7 days since we started our holiday!)
I popped downstairs to the beach to see the sunset once more.
We then drove out to the local shops to pick up another tradition, Chinese on my birthday, It was very nice too.
Took the rest of the evening to chill out :)
