25ml Irish whiskey – I use Jameson Crested
10ml standard 1:1 sugar syrup
A good American-style hoppy IPA, to top (I use Sambrook’s Session IPA)
Put the whiskey, sloe gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker, load with ice and shake.
Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice, top up with the IPA, garnish and serve.
