Baked Soy Curls

This is less of a recipe than a meat replacement option using soy curls. Baking them makes them nice and crispy.

Preheat oven to 425.

Take a bag of soy curls and rehydrate them. Depending on what you're making, you can make it more of a marinade (e.g. water, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano for a Greek-inspired dish; or flavoured broth). Once hydrated, squeeze out excessive water/marinade - using a cheesecloth is helpful with this.

If you want to add a sauce (jerk sauce) or spicy (steak seasoning), mix that with the soy curls.

Once the excess water/marinade has been removed, on a large baking sheet that has been covered with parchment paper, spread out the soy curls and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. They should be browned and crispy.
