Cabbage Roll Casserole

Serves 12

2lb Ground beef

1 cup chopped onion

1 29oz can tomato sauce

1 15oz can diced tomatoes

3 1/2 lb chopped cabbage

1 cup uncooked white rice

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

2 14oz cans beef broth

2 tbsp vinegar (or more to taste)

1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce


Preheat oven 350 In large skillet, brown beef in oil over medium high heat until redness is gone. Drain off fat. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the remaining ingedients. Add meat and mix all together. Pour mixture into a 9X13 baking dish. Pour broth over meat mixture and bake in the preheated oven, covered, for one hour. Stir, replace cover and bake for another 30 minutes.
