French Fries

700 grams potatoes

olive oil

salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 450.

Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2 inch sticks. 

On a lined sheet pan, toss potatoes with a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Arrange in a single, even layer and roast in oven, flipping halfway through, 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned and tender when pierced with a fork.
