Sliders

Serves 3

1 bag Beyond Steak®

½  tsp olive oil

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp ground mustard

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

¼ tsp ground ginger

2 tsp brown sugar

1 12-pack slider rolls (or just use hamburger buns, it's easier to deal with)

9 slices plant-based cheese of choice

1 large tomato

2 cups shredded lettuce

¼ cup banana peppers/pepperoncini

¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

cup plant-based mayo

3 tbsp Italian dressing

½ tsp black pepper

¼ cup plant-based butter

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp Italian seasoningn seasoning


1. Lightly coat your pan with olive oil. Cook Beyond Steak per package instructions. Season with smoked paprika, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger and brown sugar. Once fully cooked, remove from heat and set aside. 

2. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Slice the 12-pack of slider rolls in half, if not pre-sliced. Coat the lower slider bun with a butter mixture using butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Add the plant-based cheese slices, and cooked Beyond Steak onto the lower slider buns. Replace the top slider buns and coat with the butter mixture, plus fresh parsley to garnish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-minutes, or until buns are toasted.  

3. While the buns are baking, mix the grinder salad up by adding shredded lettuce, banana peppers, red onion, plant-based mayo, Italian dressing, and black pepper in a large bowl. Make sure all parts are equally coated. Set aside. 

4. Once toasted, remove the slider buns from the oven and remove the top slider buns. Immediately top with grinder salad mixture and thinly sliced tomatoes. Replace the top slide buns and cut into 12-sliders for easy pulling. Enjoy.
