50ml coconut rum (see introduction) 
15ml sugar syrup – a standard 1:1 water:sugar ratio 
Put the cardamom pods in a shaker and bash them with a wooden spoon to open them up slightly. 
Add the rum, coconut water, lime juice, sugar syrup and a big handful of ice, and shake hard. 
Strain into a martini glass, garnish with the mint leaf and serve.
