Sesame Asparagus

Serves 4

2 tsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally in thirds

1 tbsp soy sauce

fresh ground pepper

Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until lightly brown and popping. Set aside.

In a wok or skillet, heat sesame oil over high heat; stir dry asparagus for 2 minutes. Add soy sauce and 1 tbsp water, reduce heat to medium high and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently but don't over-cook.  Just until tender-crisp.

Season with ground pepper, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
