Won Ton Soup #2
Serves 1
Won Tons
package of won ton wrappers
200 g ground pork
200 g minced cabbage
1 egg
1.5 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp garlic oil (or just minced garlic in oil)
white pepper to taste
Mix all above ingredients except wrapper and egg. Using fork, scramble egg in small bowl. Use a fork to spread a bit of the eff on one sheet of won ton wrapper. Add one tsp of filling and seal wrap. Continue until all mixture is used up. Sprinkle with garlic oil to prevent drying out and sticking.
Soup
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp seasoning sauce (Golden Mountain - tuong gia vi, available at T&T)
white pepper to taste
fresh coriander and green onion for garnish
In a pot, add soup ingredients. Bring to a boil, add won tons and cook for 2-3 minutes or until won tons start to float. Add coriander and green onion and adjust taste if needed.
