Serves 2
1 lb baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
1 tbsp sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp water
toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey and water.
Heat sesame oil in large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
add bok choy, cut side down and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned.
Flip bok choy and pour in sauce; cover and steam for 2-3 more minutes until bok choy is tender but crisp.Â
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
