LI: We are learning to develop our writing ideas by creating a “day in the life of” writing seed
SC: I will be successful if I can create an in depth writing seed
Activity 1 – Writing Seed
Today we will be creating a ‘Day in the Life of…’ writing seed. This seed will include all the things that you do in a day of remote learning! You may want to include when and what activities you do, what you do in your breaks, and what you might get up to after school as well.
Here is an example of mine:
Activity 2
Writers Workshop
We can now move onto our Writer’s Workshop. You still have the freedom to write what you wish, but we still expect you to take pride in your work.
Here are a few things we expect you to follow while creating your writing piece:
Freedom to write what you wish
Taking pride in your work
Writing in a peaceful and quiet environment (you could work outside in the sunshine, listen to some music if it helps you think etc.)
Following the Seven Steps and the Writing Process
This is also a fantastic opportunity to upload your work and receive some conferencing notes from your teacher!
