Success Criteria:
I can sort ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ traits of George Shrinks (book character) into a list.
I can draw a new character. I can list character traits for them that are opposite to George Shrinks.
Home learning activity:
1. Today you will watch the videos and listen to the reading George Shrinks.
2. Look at the cards with ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ traits on them in the video (or below). Sort them into 2 lists: ‘inside’ and ‘outside’. Watch the 2nd video to get help.
3. At the bottom of your page, draw a character that is opposite to George Shrinks. Make a list of their character traits. The words below might help you.

Learning Task:
Today you are going to write a sizzling start for your narrative piece of writing.
When you have written an interesting start to your story you can finish the story making sure you include the problem and ending that you planned for yesterday.
Once you have finished your draft please re read it and make sure you have used punctuation and upper and lower case letters correctly throughout.
Ask Mum, Dad, a big brother or sister or other adult to read it and give you feedback before tomorrow’s writing session. Remember to ask, “How can I make this story even better?”

1 Write the spelling word. Say the spelling word out loud.
2. Count the sounds in your spelling word, and write the tricky part.
3. You should set it out like we have above. Repeat this for all of your spelling words.
4. Complete the Tuesday column in the weekly Spelling List we started yesterday
Learning intention: We are learning about division (share between).
Success criteria: I can share a collection of items EQUALLY into groups.
Warm Up: Students can find facts on their Multiplication chart that they are becoming more confident with. Try 10s, 5s and 2s. Are there any that you can recall in your mind without having to check for the answer?
Activity: Today’s activity is purely about division (share between). Students can practise sharing collections of items equally into groups by completing the questions below. Students use the questions to either make a model or by drawing a diagram in their maths books showing their working out and answers. Students can choose from the chilli levels below or take some from each. Please upload 3 examples for your teacher.
