What does a paragraph need?
A paragraph is a section of text that is focused on one idea and includes -
Topic sentence - tells the main idea
Supporting sentences - give details about the main idea
Closing sentence - ends the paragraph and reviews the main idea.
Below is an example paragraph with each of the sections highlighted.
Your task today is to form paragraphs for the 3 questions and facts (strong, medium and strongest interest) you have researched about your planet. Don’t forget to follow the structure of a paragraph. If you are unsure you can use the example paragraph below to help guide you.
