Introduction:
Watch the YouTube story 'Tiddalick the Frog'.
Activity: After watching and listening to Tiddalick the Frog, follow along with Ms Baeck and answer the set questions. Remember Ms Baeck will ask you to press pause after each question. Ms Baeck will read you the answer straight after. Good luck!

Focus: Publishing
Learning Intention: We are writing a good copy of our letters from yesterday before we send them to someone special. This is called publishing.
Success Criteria:
I can correctly write upper and lower case letters
I do my best handwriting
I listened to the feedback the teacher or parent gave me.
The Journey of a Letter - Australia Post
Activity:
Today we are doing a good copy/publishing our letters from yesterday. We will focus on making sure our handwriting is nice and neat so the special person who receives our letter can read it.
You Will Need:
Letter you wrote yesterday
Paper (If you have special paper that could be used)
Alphabet strip (to make sure you are forming letters correctly)
Grey lead pencil (to write)
Coloured pencils (to illustrate)
You will know you are finished when…
Your letter is rewritten with your best handwriting and you have drawn a picture. When you have finished you might like to put it in a stamped envelope and ask the person looking after you if you can post it in the mail or drop it off in their letterbox if they live close by.
Challenge:
Draw a detailed picture to match your letter.
Learning Intention: We are learning to write our word of the week ‘vet’ neatly and sitting on the lines.
Success Criteria:
I trace and copy ‘vet’ correctly.

Introduction: Watch and listen to the story ‘Hairy Maclary’s Rumpus in the Vet’.
Activity: Trace, and then copy, your spelling word and sentence of the week. Stick this into your spelling book and draw a picture.
You will know you are finished when…
You have traced and copied the word of the week. You have stuck it in your Spelling book.
Challenge: Practice the revision Common Words, or your Magic Words by making them with nature - you could do this in your backyard (use rocks, sticks etc) or go somewhere like the beach (use shells, rocks etc). See below for some ideas.

Success Criteria: I know subtraction means take-away.
I know subtraction means my total will be getting smaller.
I can write the matching subtraction number sentence.

You will need:
10 items of your choice
One 6 sided dice or number cards (1-6)
Introduction: Get your whiteboard ready for Number Bingo with Mr Keys. Make sure you are listening as Mr Keys might ask some addition and some subtraction questions.
Activity: Watch Mr Keys take you through today's learning. This will be very similar to yesterday except you are going to practise writing the matching number sentence. See if you can write at least 6 matching number sentences. Remember to use the sentence starters.
