Success Criteria- I can select 8 words for my weekly spelling list and I can find 2 BOB words to add to my Weekly Spelling List.
REMEMBER B.O.B. stands for “Back of Book” words. If we were at school, we would have a list in the back of our writing book to keep track of ‘tricky’ words that we need to practise. Each week we add 2 of these BOB words to our weekly spelling list so we can learn them.

-Look through your writing book or your story that you wrote last week - can you see any words spelt incorrectly?
-Choose 2 words to add at the bottom of your Spelling List in the B.O.B word section

Learning Intention- We are planning a piece of writing independently.
Success Criteria- I will complete a notebook page and from that decide on a text I will write this week.
You will need- Grey lead, notebook
Activity-
-Open up your Notebook to a double page. Today you can choose any topic that you would like to explore.
-Write that topic in the middle of the page and do your line at the bottom of the page to write your writing ideas under. You could look at Ms Brown's 'Natty Notebook' video to help you set yours out.
- spend some time talking to someone about the topic. If no-one at home can help, ring a grandparent or friend you’d like to discuss it with. You’re talking about the topic to get your ideas going.
-Now write! Fill your notebook page with words, ideas, sentences and questions about the topic. You may find your ideas branch out to new thoughts. That is okay.
-Look at your notebook page and below the line write down at least three ideas for texts you could write.
Select one of these ideas that you would like to write about this week.

You Will Need:
deck of playing cards or UNO cards (Remove 7 -10 cards)
paper and pencil
score sheet
Watch the video to see how to play the game.
In 30 seconds, see how many cards you can turn over and keep a running tally by adding the numbers.
After 30 seconds record the total you reach and the number of cards flipped in order to reach the total.
Hand your flipped cards to an adult who can check they add to the stated total.
Record the results on the score sheet.
Repeat and try to improve the number of cards you turn over.
Last week we looked at duration of time and how time is measured in different units.
This week we’re looking at the tool to measure time - a clock.
Make a poster of time and clock words.
Add pictures and diagrams.
How many clocks are there in your house (not counting watches)? Take a clock count.
Draw a picture of each clock and what the clock shows when you look at it.
Are all the times the same?
